As part of the ‘’ Piazza Wi-Fi Italia ’’ Infratel ItalIa S.p.A. project in agreement with the MIMIT and in collaboration with the technical partner TIM and the Ministry for Ecological Transition, it will supply and install of WiFi Access Points in public hospitals that can request them through an email communication to ospedaliwifitalia@infratelitalia.it
To date, 287 hospitals or public health facilities have joined the Project, by sending the email request to ospedaliwifitalia@infratelitalia.it and 3368 access points have been installed.
The initiative is part of the "digital solidarity" project of the Ministry for Ecological Transition, extended to the whole national territory, with the aim of helping people, professionals
and companies, through digital services, to continue their own activities and maintain their habits of life, while respecting the provisions of the new Decree of the President of the Council
of Ministers (Dpcm 9 March 2020) which introduces measures for the containment and contrast of the spread of Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) on the entire national territory.

It is the Municipality of Carcare, Liguria, the last administration has asked to join the project.
