Entra in WiFi Italia
MUNICIPALITIES

Register your municipality on the platform to apply for free hotspots. Municipalities in the areas affected by the 2016 earthquake are followed directly with a dedicated project and do not have to register. The implementation of hotspots (configuration, management, and maintenance for 3 years) is free of charge and paid for by Infratel Italia, while the municipalities provide the power supply for the equipment and Internet connectivity for the WiFi points - municipalities affected by the 2016 earthquake are excluded from the costs. Network development implementations are carried out by TIM for small municipalities under the Consip LAN convention, for municipalities over 2,000 inhabitants for tender award.

IS YOUR MUNICIPALITY ALREADY REGISTERED?

If your municipality has already registered for new free WiFi points, log in directly to the platform and check the status of the request or progress.

All public bodies already equipped with their own network, metropolitan cities, provinces, and regions, can join the WiFi Italia project. They can enter a national network free of charge with a large user base, maximum visibility, and free, facilitated, and secure citizen access.

MEMBERSHIP LETTER

Fill in and send the membership letter to be present with your own networks on the App.
Please note: if a municipality is already registered on the platform for requesting free hotspots, it automatically enters the App with all its networks and does not have to send the membership application.
