City of Carapelle

We publish Umberto Di Michele’s intervention

Free hotspots have also been activated in this City, which has joined the WiFi Italia Project.

“Our administration participates with conviction in the country's digitization process; joining the Wifi Italia project, and participating in the public and free network created by Infratel Italia, is one of the stages of this journey.

Carapelle rises along the banks of the river of the same name, in the Apulian tableland. The origin of Carapelle has been traced back to 1774 as part of the reclamation of the area, commissioned by Ferdinand IV of Bourbon.

In 1958 the town obtained administrative autonomy from the municipality of Orta Nova of which until then it was a fraction.

Its economy is mainly based on agriculture”.
