Municipality of Salle

We publish the speech by Davide Morante, the first citizen of Salle, in Abruzzo, who joins the Municipalities that has decided to join the "Piazza WiFi Italy" and where the free hotspots are activated.

“The Municipality of Salle, first among the countries of our district (as seen in the map below), has entered WiFi-Italy, the national network of free internet access. All citizens will be able to connect to the internet for free and surf in absolute freedom and safety in Piazza Beato Roberto, near the former school building and the Church of SS. Salvatore, in Largo San Sepolcro and in Piazza Guglielmo Marconi.

In addition to greater coverage in terms of space and a better connection speed compared to the previous hot-spot, WiFI-Italia has the dual advantage of being simple to use and allowing users to connect for free with the same account also in 3085 other municipalities Italians and soon also in hospitals. For us in Salle it is a truly useful service also for the many citizens who live abroad, or in other Italian locations, who use it in summer or during holidays ".
