The municipalities of the territories affected by the 2016 earthquake are handled directly with a dedicated project and must not register.
The realization of the hotspots (configuration, management and maintenance for 3 years) is free and is charged to Infratel Italia, the municipalities supply the electricity for the equipment and the Internet connectivity for the wifi points (the municipalities affected from the 2016 earthquake are excluded from the costs).
Is your municipality already registered? If your Municipality is already registered for the new free wifi points, go directly to the platform and check the progress of the request or works.
All the public bodies already equipped with their own networks can join the WiFi APP: Metropolitan Cities, Provinces and Regions, which in this way enter for free in a national network with a large catchment area, maximum visibility, free access, free of charge, facilitated and safe for citizens.
Complete and send the acceptance letter to be present with your networks on the App.
